FeCrAl heating alloy

Iron-chromium-aluminum alloy (FeCrAl) is a high-performance iron-based electric heating material with high resistivity, low temperature coefficient of resistance, high operating temperature, and excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance in high-temperature environments. This material is widely used in chemical industry, metallurgy and high-temperature heating equipment to provide durable and stable heating solutions. Heating elements made of iron-chromium-aluminum alloy help optimize energy efficiency and reduce industrial production costs.

0Cr27Al7Mo2

0Cr27Al7Mo2 (Russian brand number Х27Ю7М2) is a ferritic iron-chromium-aluminum-molybdenum special alloy. By adding 2% molybdenum (Mo), the material has extremely high creep resistance and mechanical stability at high temperatures. With a maximum continuous operating temperature of up to 1400°C, it is the material of choice for industrial high-temperature furnaces, laboratory equipment and extremely demanding heating elements.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why can 0Cr27Al7Mo2 reach 1400℃? What does molybdenum do?

0Cr27Al7Mo2 (Russian standard Х27Ю7М2) strengthens the matrix by adding about 2% molybdenum. It still has strong creep resistance and mechanical stability at a high temperature of 1400°C, and the components are not easy to deform and sag. It is the first choice material for industrial high-temperature furnaces, laboratory equipment and extremely demanding heating elements. It is also the grade with the highest temperature range in the iron-chromium-aluminum group.

0Cr27Al7Mo2 contains chromium 26.0~28.0%, aluminum 6.0~7.5%, molybdenum 1.5~2.5%, and iron as the balance. High chromium and high aluminum ensure the formation of a dense enough aluminum oxide protective film at 1400°C and maintain stable resistance. Molybdenum is responsible for high temperature strength; its aluminum content is the highest in the group, and the oxidation resistance limit is also increased accordingly.

0Cr27Al7Mo2 is suitable for industrial high-temperature furnaces, laboratory equipment and extremely demanding heating elements, such as 1400℃-class electric heating wires in high-temperature heat treatment furnaces and test electric furnaces. We can supply wire/heating wire 0.05~7.5mm, rod 8~50mm, flat wire/flat strip and precision strip, with tensile strength 630~780N/mm² and elongation greater than 12%.
