FeCrAl heating alloy

Iron-chromium-aluminum alloy (FeCrAl) is a high-performance iron-based electric heating material with high resistivity, low temperature coefficient of resistance, high operating temperature, and excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance in high-temperature environments. This material is widely used in chemical industry, metallurgy and high-temperature heating equipment to provide durable and stable heating solutions. Heating elements made of iron-chromium-aluminum alloy help optimize energy efficiency and reduce industrial production costs.

0Cr21Al6Nb

0Cr21Al6Nb (Russian brand number Х21Ю6Nb, equivalent to Kanthal A1 grade) is a high-performance iron-chromium-aluminum electric heating alloy. By adding trace amounts of niobium (Nb) to the alloy, the material significantly improves high-temperature creep resistance and mechanical strength while maintaining extremely high resistivity. It is suitable for harsh environments with a maximum operating temperature of 1350°C and is widely used in precision industrial electric furnaces and special heating equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the role of the added niobium in 0Cr21Al6Nb?

0Cr21Al6Nb adds an appropriate amount of niobium to the iron-chromium-aluminum base. While maintaining a high resistivity of about 1.45μΩ·m, it significantly improves high-temperature creep resistance and mechanical strength, making the component less likely to deform and sag during long-term operation at 1350°C. It is equivalent to Kanthal A1 grade and is used in high-demand applications such as precision industrial electric furnaces and special heating equipment.
