FeCrAl heating alloy

Iron-chromium-aluminum alloy (FeCrAl) is a high-performance iron-based electric heating material with high resistivity, low temperature coefficient of resistance, high operating temperature, and excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance in high-temperature environments. This material is widely used in chemical industry, metallurgy and high-temperature heating equipment to provide durable and stable heating solutions. Heating elements made of iron-chromium-aluminum alloy help optimize energy efficiency and reduce industrial production costs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Which foreign brand does 0Cr23Al5 correspond to? What are the characteristics of the ingredients?

0Cr23Al5 corresponds to Russian standard Х23Ю5, which is equivalent to Kanthal D grade. It contains 20.5~23.5% chromium, 4.2~5.3% aluminum, with iron as the balance. It uses a stable chromium-aluminum ratio to obtain a maximum operating temperature of 1250°C and consistent electrothermal performance. It is a commonly used domestic brand that replaces imported Kanthal D. The resistivity at 20°C is about 1.35μΩ·m.

The maximum temperature of the two is the same, but the composition range is different: 0Cr23Al5 chromium 20.5~23.5%, aluminum 4.2~5.3%, resistivity 1.35μΩ·m; 0Cr25Al5 chromium 23.0~26.0%, aluminum 4.5~6.5%, resistivity 1.42μΩ·m. 0Cr23Al5 is equivalent to Kanthal D and can be replaced by the corresponding imported brand.

0Cr23Al5 conventional supply wire/electric furnace wire 0.05~7.5mm, alloy rod 8~50mm, flat wire/flat strip (0.05~0.35)×(0.5~6.0)mm, strip/foil (0.5~2.5)×(5~180)mm; according to 1.35μΩ·m The resistivity is supplied with test data, and the tolerances are implemented in accordance with the national standard and the agreement between the two parties.
